§ 01 — Annual Timeline

Annual reports, in fiscal-year order

Federal fiscal year runs October 1 – September 30. Items marked AS APPLICABLE only apply to certain State agencies (grant recipients, states using older review processes, etc). Items marked with * have no exact day-of-month in the source memo — confirm with your FNS Regional Office.

§ 02 — Quarterly Reports

Due 30 days after each quarter ends

FY quarters: Q1 Oct–Dec, Q2 Jan–Mar, Q3 Apr–Jun, Q4 Jul–Sep. That puts quarterly due dates around Jan 30, Apr 30, Jul 30, and Oct 30. Final versions of grant-funded reports are typically due 90 days after the grant period ends — check individual award dates.

§ 03 — Monthly (30/90-Day) Reports

Ongoing, tied to each report month

"Estimated" data is due 30 days after the report month ends; "Actual" data is due 90 days after. These follow each State agency's own operating calendar, not a fixed FY date.
